Can someone please explain what I need to do to get a stereo mix into my mac mini for simple recording so I can monitor my practice sessions? At the moment I have one cable (a stereo jack I think) going from OUT 1 into the line input of my mac - this works OK but everything's on the left channel with nothing on the right. Ideally I just want to record what I hear in the headphones but I can't use the headphone out because then I can't hear what I playing. I guess I could use a splitter or something, is that the best way or is there a way of getting a stereo mix from OUT 1+2 using some sort of 2 into 1 cable?

use something like this

you can configure out 1 and 2 to send out a SUBmix for recording eg. what u are playing minus the metronome(which you might want to hear in your phones...)

open the 2box manual, use e.g. *BUS* as your search word and you'll find out how to do this...
