Triggit triggers with DDrum DDTI interface

This combination seems to work fairly well.  I am having a problem with each hit producing multiple midi notes in my DAW.  For example, every snare hit will create a cluster of midi notes of varying velocities.  I can eliminate some of them by filtering them out by velocity levels.  It is just a pain to clean up the notes after every performance.   I have played around with various settings in the interface but it has made little difference.  I have also dampened the mylar heads with moongel.

Please respond if you can help me with a cleaner midi performance.

Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I'm not sure if you will find many, if any, that are on this forum that use the DDTI and the 2Box Drum Triggers. You might have a little more luck on the DMDrummer (now the AlesisDrummer) forum:  http://www.alesisdrummer.com/index.php  The DDTI is the same as the Alesis Trigger iO, which has been around for many more years than the DDTI. So there are people over there that do have experience with that MIDI module. J
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)
