sound balance question

i got the ssnake cable you guys mentioned in the other thread, and now all is well concerning my recording. our bassist told me that the crashes are lower than the hi hat and i also should make the kick louder. should i increase the gain? i am afraid to do so, as it may alter the perfect triggering i have. is there another way? i havent played with such things up till now, so if there is a better way, please do tell me.its the area of the brain i am still unfamiliar with, even if this could sound stupid to many...thanx

You don't have to change the trigger setting but the unit-mixer for that.

There you can adjust elements (or group of same elements) separately like Kick, Snare, Hi Hat, Toms, Cymbals, Percussions.

Everything is explained in the manual page 29 (1.24 version)

2Box as less functionnality accessible from the front panel than other brands mid to high end modules. But it's all in there  8)
