If you don't want to solder (don't have the equipment, don't know anyone who could help you), you can just wind the wire around pins. And for the box you can use matches box. You can reinforce it with additional cardboard, business card, plastic paper dividers and stuff like that. That's not really a bullet proof solution but it should work nevertheless.
