Head tension

I was wondering whether the 2box heads will trigger well if left fairly loose.

I think one of the drawbacks to using the Roland mesh pads for practice (if you are an acoustic drummer) is that they have to be kept very tight, which provides a different bounce than acoustic drums.

I was hoping that the 2box heads can be loosened since the triggers (I think) are not under the heads.

Of course, this may not matter if they keep acting like they don't want any Yankee business...

I have no idea how  they will react under less  tension...but the trigger is under the head at the edge. The  piezo however is on top of the  "tower" next to thee mesh rather than underneath like a classic "Roland" assembly.
