Completely eliminated the kick doubletriggering!

So I managed to completely eliminate the doubletriggering by building a simple wooden kick drum holder.

- I can tighten and untighten the drumhead how much I want, no double trigger!
- I can lower or raise the beater how much I want, no double trigger!
- I can play with the foot so low on the pedal that only the toes hits the bottom of the pedal, no double trigger!

Simple wood construction, standard woodscrews. I used underfloor anti-vibration layer (costs 10â,¬/100kr per 20 m2) to make the kickdrum sit even tighter. I put it behind the rack, tightend the kick to the pedal and used one of rack arms to hold the pedal back (when I used it to hold the kick back the rack moved backwards, but then it holds the pedal that is tightend to the kick it doesnt move at all, and the rack DOESNT shake).

..and I pushed a small absorberfoam panel behind the kick and holder to lower the kicknoise, maybe this helped keeping the beater from bouncing also, dont know :p

Also it feels much better to play, according to my drummer friend - much better! :)

Oops re-updating pictures. Also took two new ones

Here you can see some more details on the lower construction.

There is how I keep the kick from being pushed back.
