I also love the tama *ringy* snare, i find this one have character. ok i have to admit i have a secon snare on my kit, a piccolo one, wich shows im a big fan of that metal sound

I use the second aux. snare (piccolo) too. And I do like ringy snares ..... but that Tama is pretty extreme  it could use a little moon gel.
