Do you need an audio interface for recording 2box? Because I use Logic pro on my mac and maybe its possible to just connect drumit to my mac with USB!? So if you use Audio interfaces what kind of do you have? I try to find something around 200-300 Euros

if you want to record audio from the Drumit 5, then you need to use some kind of audio interface to convert the analogue signal to the digital domain.

you can do this with the built-in soundcard on your Mac, however the quality won't be particularly good (cheap AD converters)...

for high-quality recording, you would definitely want to use a good quality external audio interface.

the USB connection on the Drumit 5 is a mass storage connection for transferring files. it does not support audio protocols nor USB-MIDI.

if you want to use the Drumit 5 to MIDI trigger drum software on your Mac, then you need some kind of MIDI interface (note that some audio interfaces also have MIDI ports).
