Help! Kit won't connect to PC

Hey all,
So I bought a 2box MK1 second hand from Andertons music (so I knew it would have been checked over).
I picked up a USB connection cable today; however when I plug the kit in, the module doesn't recognise the USB connection and neither does the computer. Might anyone have any idea why this is? The module works fine and it's running OS 1.26.

From the manual:

In order to start the DrumIt Five module in USB mode, simply hold down the left DATA button above the
display, while powering up the unit.

If you're already doing that, try a different cable.

Absolute legend, that doesn't seem to be in my manual, but mine is a very very early serial number so maybe new software changed. Cheers bud!
