Transportation of kit, suggestions?

Im constantly moving my kit from various venues and practices,
the stands fold in well enough to fit into the car and I put the cymbals into a normal cymbal case.
However, all drum pads at the moment are stacked into a big bag with a pillow.

Any suggestions at all?

Think a bass drum case stacking all on top of each other in it would be alright or would that cause problems for the mesh etc?
Anything designed existing out there?
