Hi, I would like to add 1or 2 electronic cowbells to my Drumit5.
I've found one which looks nice to play, the Hart Hammer from Hart Dynamics.
Do you think it will work perfectly with the Drumit5?
Otherwise do you have any others suggestions?
Thanks for your feedbacks!!

Our own Jman makes e-cowbells. We reviewed a bunch of these triggers in digitalDrummer - check it out for free at www.digitaldrummermag.com

Hi DigitalDrumer!
Thx for the information. I've read the review about eCowbells!
I was not aware about Jman's eCowbells but yesterday he send me a PM.
His eCowbells looks good but It will be to noisy for a home (appartement) use.
Because of noise I was thinking about the Hart Hammer, and it seems to be the less noisy.
Now you spoke about a tiny bit of module tweaking. Do you have some feedbacks about using the Hart Hammer with the Drumit5?
Thanks again!

It might be worth looking at the Koby nano pads.

I use 2 of these for cowbell sounds and similar.  They're reasonably priced and I've found they
work very well.  (Got mine direct from maker on ebay).

But also they come in a lovely bright orange colour, and they screw onto the end of a 2box
cymbal arm (ie an extra one/no cymbal attached) - then coz of the long arm you can position
them in places that others cannot reach.  EG close to the side of the snare, which I find very
easy to access at speed.

Just a thought.....

Hi, Slap the drummer!
Thanks for informations. I did not found any Nano Pad or Koby seller store in Ebay.
I've just send an email to Kobydrums to know if they can ship to Canada.
I guess an orange Nano Pad should looks very nice!  :)

Hi there - I've just had a look but I can't see them on ebay either, sorry.  I hope they really are
called "nano pads" !   My memory = kaput.  Anyway they were deffo made by Koby and the main
guy was really helpful so I'm sure you'll get a reply.

Hi Perico,

I ordered Hart Hammer as a cowbell. It works great with 2Box module.
It is very sturdy and quiet.
I got mine from here: http://drum-tec.de/

Hi Espen!
Good news!  :D
Did you have a Drumit5? If yes with which rack, MKI or MKII?
And how did you mount the Hart Hammer to the rack? I would like to know what extra hardware I will need if I buy the Hart Hammer.
Thx!

I just have a module. Everything else is something else.
I used a rack clamp similar to this: http://www.thomann.de/fi/dixon_verbindungsstueck.htm
It's standard sized clamp and fits to 2Box MK2 rack too. (I have tested when I had the rack)

The package contains just the pad. No cable or anything else.
But there are lots of options to attach the pad since it can be hitted almost from any direction.

Ok thanks a lot!
I'm gonna wait some feedback from Koby drums and I'll make my choice.
