Title: Roland KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal
Post by: Stupidrumface on December 01, 2016, 08:31:58 AM
Hi everyone, new to the forum and still deciding on some things.

I'm starting a build myself and was planning on getting a 2box brain, but I also want to get the Roland KT-10 Kick pedals. I've heard elsewhere that there may be compatibility issues with the 2box and these pedals, does anybody have any experience with the matter?

Thanks

It apparently works well: https://www.vdrums.com/forum/general/products/1038804-kt-10-kick-trigger?p=1041268#post1041268
Also reviewed in Digital Drummer magazine 11/2014 and reported working fine with the 2Box module. http://www.digitaldrummermag.com/HOME.html

Hi!

I was bored yesterday and went in to my best friends drum store...and came out with a KT-10 trigger.

Have not tried it yet with my 2box...but I will tomorrow. I tried it yesterday with my MegaDRUM based e-cajon...works great. What a nice trigger from Roland...

Best regards

The Roland KT-10 works great with almost any 2box settings...:-)

To optimize them a bit, I found the following settings worked great for me:

Type: Kick2
Gain: 10
Threes:-36. (You can go to -48 without any problems)
Xtalk: off
Curve: Norm
