Other e-drum systems / Re: Drumless tracks
January 12, 2010, 07:46:36 PM
it's also an option to buy Rhytm magazine because it comes every month with a CD with 4 drumless tracks....for the Dutch people, you can buy it in the American Book Shop near the Kalverstraat.

I think this site inside a site works fine...however somebody would like to maintain it.
I hope that the 2box site will also become more full with content soon.

I understood from another topic that it's end February.
You probably will find this back when you do a search for "February" or "March"

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / Re: Another review
January 12, 2010, 07:41:03 PM
When is the first official review planned in a magazine.
Most of the time reviews on the net are not amazing and depends also on the drummer him or herself.
Anybody knows when the DrumitFive will be reviewed in a magazine?

I was wondering if it's possible to use two headphones on the DrumitFive.
Ofcourse there is only one output but it many cases you want to show and more important, demonstrate your drumkit to others and then they can't.
Because the other outputs are mono you will only hear one channel and not that loud.

I bought a splitter (see picture) but the quality and sound volume does decrease dramtically.

Anay way to fix this without putting an amplifier on the device?

Feedback, mooie winkel, slecht personeel, ze kunnen alleen heel goed afrekenen.

Hi Scott, I didn't have to remove the shells, I used my fingernails and as you can see in the photo, the rubber connector seems to have snapped.
Not sure if this happened during drumming (I can't imagine) or it was already there and never noticed that the rubber rim was a bit up.

Is there a way to get a replacement. If so, please feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks

Henk

Thanks,

I just want to make sure that the difference I have now (see photo) won't cause issues in the future.
For now they just work fine.
You also have a though Scot?

Thanks again guys,

DrumIt 5 Hardware / Re: ddrum 4 se vs 2box drumit five
January 06, 2010, 08:36:52 PM
I think the ddrum hardware looks more stable but in the end the Drumitfive hardware is quite good, apart from the snare stand perhaps.

Hi Scott,

Here it is, you can see that the top and the bottom is visible. You might need to compare it with your own to see the difference.
I can push it down a bit but then it bounces up again.

Is it normal that these rim rubbers are very loose?

DrumIt 5 Hardware / Rubber on top of tom is loose a bit
January 06, 2010, 04:58:57 PM
I noticed that the rubber on top of the pad of the first tom is a bit loose already. It has been lifted a bit up if I compare it to the other pads. It seems also a bit loose when you slightly lift it up.

Anybody has the same or is this quite normal and not alarming.

Later on I will try to make a photo.

What about the idea to sell also a bigger cymbal so it looks like a ride instead of a crash?
I never saw that in E-drums but it seems such a simple solutions to me. Anybody else?

Thanks,
You have experience with a good USB-MIDI cable brand? I read on the Internet sometimes there are problems with the USB drivers.
#60
Thanks for the big reply!
I am planning to get started with MIDI and saw some MIDI IN and MIDI out cables (usb) on the Internet.
Are these worth the money and what are the disadvantages (latency etc.) or is it better to buy a dedicated MIDI module if you don't have a powerfull PC?

Thanks again,

HJ
