Title: Best in-drum acoustic drum trigger?
Post by: shimy1984 on June 13, 2016, 04:02:25 PM
Hello all,

I am interested in converting my Ludwig Breakbeats set into an electric set.

I've been looking around at different triggering options and found these two:

1. Jobeky's Adjustable Internal trigger system (http://www.jobekydrums.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=90&products_id=421)
2. Pintech Acoustic to Electronic Drum Kit Conversion (http://pintech.com/product/a2e-conversion-kit/)

Have any of you used either of these systems? How are the results with the 2box Drumit 5? Are there better alternatives or cheaper DIY alternatives?

Thanks!

any side mounted foam/piezo trigger will perform well ...  trigera , wronka , or L-BAR DIY ... have a look on the forum , there s a lot about this in the DIY section , or over the web...

Try Either crossbar or side mounted triggers from Jman, at Stealthdrums.com Both trigger perfectly with 2 box and every other module
