Hmm the ride works much worse with this version than the last one. I get either a weak "middleridesound" or a weak bell now when playing on the middle of the ride, it actually workds so bad with the ride that I have to change back to 1.10

another great thing as i stumbled upon today while practising, would be to have a fast forward, rewind, play and stop function in the sings we pla ythrough the brain. thanx

The Ride feel is still worse 2box should update this problem in the next os. I think its one of the most importent things to do.Because the toms,snare,kickd and hihat works excellent.

well i think i have more of a hi hat problem than with ride...
my hi hat seems to have some areas, thatif you hit it there, no sound is triggered? seems strange....

Dear Developer,

I have tried if for a while with my 2box brain #1309.  I have not replace the SD-CARD yet because there were no problems with version 1.11.   However when I load 1.20 it always locks up at path #9 not immediatly but after playing a number of hits at the same time.   I need to power-cycle the box as it does not respond anymore.  Reverting back to 1.11 fixes the problem.

I will request a new SD-CARD from the distributor to see if this has to do with the new firmware or a the infamous broken SD-card issue.

after i installed the beta, cymbal1 will only produce crash and bell sounds...mostly crash sounds on every zone though...it shows all different zones on the trigger page, cymbal works fine, cause this only happens on the cymb1 input...

if there was something wrong with the input, the brain wouldn't show the different zones, right?

so is this a software problem? am i the only one with this problem in 1.20beta?

2box must take on those cymbal problems especially the ride, i hope they will update this next OS, then they can concentrate on other problems.but I think that the cymbals are the issue for new customers.

Good work so far. I like the parametric Eq  Section. This could be very helpful to filter some bad frequencies or to manipulate a sound very effective. Also the  HiHat midi bugfixes are great when using 2Box with Logic an something like SuperiorDrummer. But I have found an issue when using my 32Gb SD Card.
After Bootsequence i get an Message: "Unaligned Cluster"!  I hope that tis is not a new feature of 1.20 to avoid using bigger sd cards ;-).

I've been using this new beta OS with the same 32GB card as you with no problems at all ... so I would think it must be something else causing your boot error.

No problem with cymbal triggering here, I have edge, bow and bell on each cymbal.
I'm sure now: Xtrig reduces a lot crosstalk between pad and rim.

Same issue here with 1.20 beta : "Unaligned Cluster" message.

It's the genuine SD card inside the unit.

Never had a problem before...

I have formated it several times (with a Windows PC) and tried again. But no chance.
I get another message now: FAT_S_0512_C_16k
I hope this problems only occur with the beta.

That error occurs if you try to format your card with Windows Explorer. It uses 16K clusters. You need 32K clusters and you need to format the card from the COMMAND PROMPT. Start the command prompt and type this in :

Format E: /FS:FAT32 /A:32K

replace E with whatever drive letter your card shows up as
/FS:=Filesystem
/A:=Cluster Size

That will fix it.

i formatted in windows 7, with 32 kb cluster. you think windows lied and i have to format, your way?
