Simple midi file

[Slap the drummer]

How hard can it be to make a midi file with nothing more than 99 hits (any note!) with velocity
going up from 1 thru to 127  

Well I can't do it.  Can anybody help?  What I'd really like is some kind of solution where I can
easily change the length of gap between notes.....

Something like the DSoundTool  , but I'd like to get a slightly different spread of velocities
and range going down to 1.
