Hi,
I finally manage to assembly my full kit :animal: Thanks to edrum attic for making that possible
At first play, the sounds are pretty good but as mentioned before my others, the kick just doesn't sound right out of the box, so the first thing I did was to change the curve to max2 :-\
I notice the pads head tension is not tight enough, I didn't find it in the manual neither, so beginners or people new to electronic drums must tension the head evenly! Anyway, here are some pics:

cheers and happy drumming :patbat2box:

Weeeeeeee ... how cool is that?   :patbat2box:

MisterE

setup looks cool  :-*
but, where is the normal snare stand?

BURNIN AMBITION

mk2 kick pad should work without needing it to be in max2
mk1 kicks had low volume(some of them)

also where the hell did you get the second tennis ball beater? i also need one they had only one in the box
2box, bengt, deve, digital drummer, Jman, Brian, Manfred thanx for everything

It seems to me as normal snare stand would be a bit problematic because of the double bass?

Exactly, a standard snare stand renders a double pedal unplayable in this situation...
And I bought a used kit (minus the module, hihat and cymbals) that's where I got my second ball

Could you enlighten me on that? I did try it to get it right with curve normal but I couldn't get it to sound right....
Can you share your trigger settings?
I'm using OS 1.1

Nope, I put those values and still can't hear the kick loud enough by soft hits, only by VERY hard hits, and still....
Replacing the stock hihat stand with another from tama or gibraltar will give you more control over the spring tension and pedal positioning, I'd say it's worth it. Same goes for the kick pedal of course.

kick pedal is a must to change. that goes without saying. i sold my old pearl eliminator 2002c and i am waiting in a few days my new pearl eliminator 2002b

i am not the expert here but if you cant get triger with these settings you also have a sensor problem. go to the distributor mate.let them check it. you should be able to triger the same sound as to when you touch the kick button. if you dont get this something is wrong...

Definitely not getting the same sound as when I click the kick button..... the rest of the pads yeah but the kick is really really quiet.
Edit: I just disassembled the kick to have a look at the sensor:

both 2 cables are soldered, but I notice the foam on the left side is a bit longer and touches the sensor? Maybe I cut a bit to avoid it touching the sensor?
Final Edit: Well I removed the foam completely and the kick now triggers perfectly so the foam is definitely the culprit here.....
remove it now if you have trigger issues!

Evy

Stupid comment coming, but just checking.  Are those of you with issues of level maxing the volume of each pad within the module?  I pretty much max them all and the kit sings!
