Apparantly a USB cable wasn't supposed to be included and from what I've understood the software will be released along with the next module OS update.

Hi killswitch!
Where did you buy your kit?
I'm in Canada too, in Montreal and no stores sells the kit for now.
Thx

Hi there, I have my DrumItFive, too, and I checked USB, it DID work, but probably is in STABD BY MODE when bought from Store.
When plugged to my "MAC Book Pro" it starts to check USB, says on display, but in computer there is no "USB Starage", no software installs automaticly or something like that.

Can you help us with "SWITHING OFF" USB stand by mode in DrumIt5?
Thx.
check this meanwhile if you like :-) We did SHORT COMMERCIAL for "Drumit five".
I really LOVE THIS unit! IT IS MONSTER WITH FUTURE!

Dobry Den marecsek :)

I really like the advert...It's a tease!

edit: heh, will anyone notice the switch?

marecsek

THX... :-)

we say: "DOBRY DEN" :-)

Just note: Could anyone check that "STAND-BY" function of USB in 0.36 Software verson in "DrumItfive"?
"Switch-On" and "Switch-Off".

Just in case anyone knows.
I am looking forward to PULL some of MY SOUNDS in that monster!

Could you post a demo of the best punchy studio kit in the drum it five?

Don't think it's a stand-by function. Sounds more like you need specific drivers and software to access the storage.

IIRC The ability to load your own samples to the Drumit module won't be available until they release the firmware update to v1.0

Hi does anyone know when software will be available?

UC

Hi Anthony and welcome to the board :)

I've recently heard from Bengt at 2box - end of October we should see Operating System 1.0 ...In december they plan to release a utility to download single samples with drag and drop to the Unit, and also OS 1.1 (no details what's going into that just yet - stay tuned).

In January there should be a test version of the full kit Editor (although whether there will be a public beta version remains to be seen)...The full-blown editor should be available in March, alongside a further update to the OS up to 2.0.

These dates are projections at the moment, so don't set your watch by them  :D

hi
just asked bengt if the software 1.0 will be availiable when i get my drumkit, in early december, and he said that the next shippment, early december, will ship with the new software 1.0 in which they "have ironed out some bugs, cleaning up among parameters in the display and fixed the USB bug."
