Hi folks!
I have Ocean Way Drums Silver and am pretty happy with its sounds.

How do I use 2box as a MIDI controller to trigger Ocean Way Drums's samples?

Please note, I don´t have a MIDI input in my system, so I need to use the USB cable for MIDI out.

Is this possible?

If the MIDI cable is required, do you have any workarounds to make it work without having to change my audio interface?

USB port on the 2Box module does not send MIDI. You would need to use the MIDI port on the module and a MIDI to USB interface.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

Thanks JMan.

Do not get crazy. Use  MIDI to USB converter. I can recommend Roland UM-1 as the best price/quality, but there are plenty of options from cheap "Chinese" brands up to high end stuff. Have a look on EBay or Amazon. You can start from less than 20 EUR.....

You´re right, no fuzz right?

I got an Maudio UNO and it works like a charm. Now I just have to program the midi notes to trigger the samples I want.

Thanks goodness Cubase is so flexible on that matter.

Alright! Thanks guys!

I have a midi sport 2x2, but decided to go with the cheap midi to usb cable, just because it was easy to use.
