Hello,

I have sampled all roland ddr-30 sound and i am wanting to put it on the drum it 5. The problem is that when i import the sound in the drum it drumkit creatr software it places them by there dB volume. I want to know if it is possible to place the sound in which ever velocity i want no matter what the dB is, in order for it to sound exactly like the ddr-30.

Thanks,
Oscar A. Ibarra

Hi,

It's possible to specify the velocities when converting with DSoundTool, by creating a velocities.map file: http://www.shortestpath.se/dsoundtool/manual/advanced.html

Else, SDSE can be used to batch convert .wav files to .dsnd with the velocities in the same order as the .wav files if they are numbered from high to low velocities. You can convert a full kit at once from .wav to .dsnd. http://www.lustark.com/faq?catid=3 (in "Convert WAV files to .dsnd, Batch Convert")
