Save on! No Save
« on: April 14, 2016, 05:15:04 PM »
Hi Guys,

I'm sure this has been covered but after having a look through the manual
I have Jman,s 32g extender fitted which I have to say is an outstanding
Piece of kit and I strongly recommend it to all!
My problem is I have edited kits on the Mac,
Renamed them first, then saved the kits and all works perfectly when I
Put the SD back in the module and sounds fantastic.
But... When I make small tweaks when hooked up to the kit, with SAVE enabled
The sensitivity tweaks and odd cymbal volume and the cymbal I have added
By adding a splitter to the 4th Tom rim and changing the +++ setting for it to -+-
To make it crash instead of the bell sound all works great I save after each change
But the next day when I fire up the module the settings are back to how they were.
I need to find out what I am missing here as I have to break all the gear down to
go out live for a few months so I'm flapping a bit,
If anyone can please help with this I would be very greatful.
I have read the manual and can't find a solution to this issue. Just so you guys don't think I'm being
Lazy ....Cheers.
Thanks.

Jman

Not sure this is what is going on, but just in case. There are 2 areas with Save settings. One is in Kit mode. One in in Unit mode. When changing kit instruments, sounds etc., after making your changes you need to press Kit, Save, Save ..... you press Save twice because after pressing Save the first time you have the opportunity to Rename your kit. The other Unit Save function is for saving any of the Unit settings you change, like trigger parameters, output assignments, etc. etc. Press Unit and Save ....
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

Hi J, I think that's what I've done wrong just pressing save 1 time same as when in unit.
That seems to have solved it,
Thanks again for making my set up sound amazing thanks to you and your tech!
Highly recommended guys!
