Hi Guys,
Just put my editor on to drag a few new drums and cyms on their.
My floor Tom pad on the editor is 2 smaller overlapping pads?
Everything else is normal.
Checked the pad type in the module all looks
The same?
Baffled?
Thanks in anticipation 👍

It's possible that the rim of the floor tom is not set to the default pad type. On the module press Unit, go to the Trig page, press More and the floor tom button at the same time.

Yeah, if the Rim of your tom is set to anything other then Rim or XRim as the pad type it will show up as 2 separate pads.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

Ahh, right so if that is the case I could add a cowbell or whatever to that 2nd pad underneath?
I wasn't aware that was possible with 2 box?
Thanks for that, I'll try to get it back to normal, then seperate them again to try the cowbell idea.
Cheers! 👍

Jman, while you are here,
I was adding a couple of cyms and toms but wasn't much room on the module. ( you can tell I am proper new to all of this tech!)
So I just removed some files I wouldn't use, but still didn't leave a hell of a lot of room.
I e heard about your 32gig expansion.
Sounds like a winner to me,
Went to see Dave at diamond drums yesterday he is converting
An acoustic kit for me which I'll use live through the 2 Box Mod,
So the opportunity to get some wicked kits on there would be
tops!
Any links to it mate please?
Very very greatful for all you guys help 👍

Normally you choose a different pad type other than Rim or XRim if you split your tom inputs to have more separate pads or cymbals. All 4 of the Tom inputs are splittable with a common insert type splitter cable. Many of us choose to have additional drums or cymbals via additional drum or cymbal pads rather than use the rim of the tom drum. But you can assign any sound you want to the rim of a dual zone drum pad. J

Hi fellas just hooked the module to the pc, all the pads
Kick snare 2 toms are full and I can tap the rim
Etc on the snare and toms all set as 8 pad or 10 pad on the toms
The floor Tom .... Tom3 was also set as this
But on the graphic on the editor it is 2 smaller pads overlapping.
Changed to X pad made no difference.
I haven't been in the settings before hand regarding pad types etc
So I am quite baffled. ????

Changing to XPad won't change the graphic. Go to the module Unit-Trig settings. Set the head to Pad8 or Pad10 or Pad12. Set the Rim to Rim or XRim. Save the setting.
