yep clever solution as well. but since i got a big card and i dont have a laptop  and i dont have all my music in my phone, id rather play everything from the brain.

ps. i love my 2box, i realise it every day even more

I would like to have the option to remove the DrumItInit.dkit file and just manage the kits using a single kit file for each kit. I have no use for 100 kits and use maybe 5 and it's annoying to have to move through all 100 kits to get to them at the end of the list.

Alternatively if we could make them appear first somehow?

I realise I could copy them from the singles down into the first 5 but that requires me to do so every time I make a change. As I use two modules it's nice to be able to copy the kit files and folders back and forth.

Cheers :)

1. Reverb
2. Para EQ on each Kit (3 band would suffice)
3. Compression

davul

1. Editor as a vst intrument or aplication like a Cakewalk sfz player, which reads dsdn files
2. Three dsdn samples started by one trigger (Direct, OH, Ambience) with possibility to send each dsdn to another channel
3. Round robin function - periodicaly releasing of notes - taken from yamaha modules

I would like a fix for the hihat :( or am I the only one who gets the wrong zone on the hihat some times when it is half open or open?

do a recalibration mate. i have no problem in that. also, what i think would be useful, is the knob that changes kit, to be able to go from kit 1 to kit 99 if i turn the knob to the left

Hi Hwasser,

I had the same problem after upgrading to 1.24 and sent my hihat to the service. It came back with comment 'no problem found' and the advice to put the module to factory settings. This solved my problem with my module.

Hope this helps!

another thing i saw in td9 brain, in my drum teachers set and i think we could take advantage of it, is this.

td9 brain has 2 buttons. one quick record and one quick play. you press the quick record and it records what you play (without the metronome)/if you press play it playes what it recorded. if we put that in the brain would be very handy to record on the fly what we play and hear how it sounds on the fly.
just an idea...

Additional inputs would always be nice.
Agreed, but that's not a software feature  ::)

Please please please add something to alter the voltage triggering on the ride between bow and bell to suit harder quarter note playing - not just Gain & Threshold! Should point out that I am NOT a loud player!

I currently use my Roland on bell input set to 'Cup' - so no choke. I use the 2Box cymbals as crashes! This seems the only way

And - improve the Hi Hat. I played the TD15 with the VH11 (same hi hat as on the TD9) and the improvements are incredible. Best Hi Hat I've played on an Ekit at that price ever... It must be a software improvement as the hardware is the same! With their new software you can't 'catch the hi hat out' however hard you try - it's impressive.

So why not improve the Hi Hat in the next OS? The Forum is littered with player disgruntled with the Hi Hat. Surely this is more important than brushes????

2Box module & cymbals with Roland TD9Kx2 rig - still using the Roland ride as separation of bell and bow is faultless!
