So, I took advantage of the July sale and bought the BFD Zildjian Digital Vault pack. After much ado I still can't open the extension pack in Eco. Both programs are "registered and ready to go" the license software tells me, but when I open Eco I only see the sounds that were there already.

Am I missing something? The Zildjian pack is installed in the same folder as BFD Eco. Is there an import function in Eco or should this work seamlessly?

You'll prolly get more help at the Fxpansion forum: http://www.fxpansion.com/forum/index.php
I don't use Eco, and already have BFD2 and 3 installed, so I am not familiar with all the specifics of Eco. But I will say that typically after you install an expansion in BFD you will need to rescan all your paths. I installed a couple BFD expansions in the last week and neither one showed up until I rescanned all the paths ...... even had to rescan more than once for one of them .... not sure why it is like that, but that has been my experience almost every time I have added a BFD expansion.

Chapter 9 of the Eco manual explains how to manually set your data path and also how to rescan all your data paths .... that is most likely where your solution lies. J

Yup. That was exactly what it was. Strange that they don't mention this in the installation guide. Actually I also wrote an email to Fxpansion, they suggested reinstalling the pack in a new location and then adding that path in eco. Just re scanning the path was much easier, so thanks for the tip.

Yeah, for me it is pretty much an expected thing to rescan all the data paths after an expansion install. The other thing that is sometimes the best method is to click the tab that allows you to manually choose a folder to scan. Then you just find your new expansion and choose that and scan.
