Hi again,

My 2box module arrived today. No base to mount it though. What should I do?

Here's what I did for now, contact customer service with this:

"
Dear Sam Ash Customer service,

I have a problem with my 2box module. I'm new to 2box products and I only recently bought the module/brain from the Drummit 5 kit. The box came with the adapter and some tiny rubber mounts for the module but no real base or screws came in the box.

How am I supposed to attach/mount the unit to/on my existing drumkit? "

Is the base mount supposed to come with the Rack or something similar?

It doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks!

What you should do is :

-1 put it on a table
-2 have a look on the internet
-3 buy a module mount

No module comes with a mount when bought alone ... no use to bother the customer service for that .

here is a topic with alternative ideas...

That's just silly.

I don't know about Roland but the Alesis Dm10 does come with one. It's a little frustrating as I wanted to use the 2box in conjunction with the Dm10 to expand my kit.

This is a 1000 USD module and it has no mount. It doesn't make sense.

Well, thanks for confirming what I suspected.

I agree with you. It is not very friendly. Clamps are for sale but read the review from another customer on this page.

I ended up using velcro to attach the 2box to the DM10 mount. That way no warranty is voided and I get to mount the module.
