There's a post on farce book from 2box saying: "I spy with my little eye something ending with Three....... ‪#‎Musikmesse2015"

Maybe they are hinting at the 2box MKThree?
it's strange that no one has even reported about this, maybe some swedish reporter has but I have found no further info on this...

Saw one picture, they show the Drumit Three in Frankfurt! But no news either.

News, it is a limited edition from our module. More interesting is that this video show new cymbals!

The new module is a reduced featured version on drumit5 less knobs to mess with, less output ootions, but same interal kit sounds .  Interesting looking cymbals look similar to roland with 80 percent rubber pad and a 20percent plasticy bit.

Murgen

It is a serious attempt to take a slice of the pie in the midrange segment and this can make Roland very nervous. I like the approach 2Box has taken.

BLAM! Take that NFUZD and Roland! ;)

Hehehe....  :D  8)

EDIT Okay, so here are some more thoughts...

I'm sure you all know by now (I must have mentioned this already half a dozen times at least...) a DrumIt-5 module is *roughly* in the same price-bracket as the TD-15 module was.

(I can't check Thomann-prices anymore... - which would have given me a fair, comparable level for the following words...)

I *suppose* that Roland's newly introduced TD-25 module will be priced higher than the TD-15 (based on past observations; ...which would make the DrumIt-5 *even more* appealing). 2box' cut-down DrumIt-Three offering in in turn will be aiming squarely at Roland's TD-11 module, while the TD-25 will cover a spot in the mid-range segment.

...or at least what Roland *thinks* is the 'mid-range' segment...
(I don't have to tell you fine folks that a state-of-the-art, top-of-the-line, open-ended module can be had at a mid-range price-point!) ;)

Now...
as Roland is going higher and 2box is going lower, price-wise:

If they will even go lower than their ~950â,¬ flagship (!) module (without sacrificing their sound-quality which made them popular to begin with), I don't see why anyone would have the desire to spend their hard-earned money on a (perceived) lower-midrange TD-11.

You can see on this video that the new Drumit Three kit has a stationary HH cymbal mounted to the rack, plus an electronic HH pedal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItuZwBjtIts

Only guessing on this but I would guess you will be able to use it with the new pedal and stationary cymbal, or with the original moving 2Box hat.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

maybe that new hihat operates like your mod does Jman.

no info on the HH system yet, so we'll have to see. Hopefully it is compatible with the current 2Box HH system. If it is, my conversion box will work with the Drumit Three. J

-Actually Td-25K is the same price as Td-15K, but they give the VH-11 HIHAT and the PDX100 Snare included which was not the case before, basically it's a lower price for the kits compare to before.

-The TD-25KV,  gains an extra cymbal and mount compare to Td-15KV for the same price.

But 2box module is much more convenient for acoustic real drum sound, VST sound are the standard on the market, Roland still doing their closed 2/3 velocity switch sound with synth editing with drum term name based on wav, until they don't change road, they have hit a wall.

I might be interested on this module, Did you think my current pad and cymbal will works on this module?

My pad are DIY same as TD30 pad config, cone from quarts for head and under side below for the rim with Fat Diados Cake Pan, my Cymbal are all Roland CY and HIHAT Roland VH-11. I will probably sell my TD-15 anyway..

My educated guess is that you would be fine. At least that is the case with changing over from Roland to 2Box Drumit Five.... with the exception that you might need one of my conversion boxes for using the VH-11 with the 2Box module.  http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,1890.0.html
But we will prolly get some more detailed info on any differences of the Drumit Three in the next few days.
