formatting sdhc error

I tried to format the card with the internal sdhc formatter 4.0 software but it tells me this error:
format sd either the drive or the memory card is not supported by this software.

What card are you talking about? Is this the original card inside the module, or have you done the extender mod? Why were you reformatting the card?

Also you mentioned in another thread that this was a used module you picked up and it was running 1.10. Is that the OS version it is running? or the Boot Loader is 1.10?

jman hello, sorry for my english, the 2box to the boot loader 1.10 and the operating system and the 0.36, unfortunately the form occasionally "freeze" in 2 or 3 sets and I have to turn it on again, also when I create a file and DSND except on 2box and does not work as it should delete it but the file does not delete the file remains at 0 kb!'ve downloaded the entire operating system files with 1.24 DSND here http://www.hyperactive.de/support/2box 1.7 gigabytes of compressed material, at this point I bought an extension cable and a sDHC memory card that will install the module and then I'll see what happens .... however the memory card and its original internal 4 gig (I do not know the brand) and gives me the error when I want to format! thank you and hello from Italy.

Your problem is not going to be solved by formatting your card.

The brain freeze problem you describe is discussed here: http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,457.msg5378.html#msg5378
At the very least you will need a new Boot Loader installed, and a new SD card, then the OS can be updated to 1.26 and the module will be a huge improvement over what you have now. The new 1.32 Boot Loader is no longer posted on the net for download and you need to contact 2Box direct.

then I bought a 16 gig sd memory and a sd cable extender to put in the module instead of the old sd 4 gig, then I downloaded the version 1.7 giga Brain Modulinhalt 1.24 from here http://www.hyperactive.de/support/2box
then I copy the contents Brain Modulinhalt 1.24 in the sd card then in theory turning on the module should work ....
and I do request on the site 2box boot loader 1.32 to put in place the boot loader 1.10.
of course if Brain 1.24 Modulinhalt not work so good I would avoid making updates to the boot loader 1.32 .... or should I do it? because the version boot loader and 1.10 to have problems copying files DSND? thanks jman

I don't suggest complicating this more by doing any modifications before you get this worked out. My suggestion is click the "Contact 2Box Direct" email link and explain the problem to Bengt. You might have to send the module in for repair to do this.

Because you have a very old OS in your module there might be problem to update. Where in Italy are you based. You might need to contact the reseller for service.
