Retrieving samples from Ddrum4

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but maybe some former Ddrum4 users can't help.
I have a snare sample in my dd4 that I can't find the original sample for in my computer (it was a custom sound and not a standard clavia sample).  Is there any way, outside of resampling, to digitally retrieve that sound so I can port it over to my 2Box? I'm pretty sure it's not possible but I'm hopeful.

Nope, there is no way to send midi sample dump from dd4. Are you sure the sound isn't on the dd4 CD? Check the name of the sample in the modules display. There you can also see if it is stored in the dump group. If so, it is a non-stock sound.

You can just record the output to a PC and make a new sample for 2box, but it will be single-shot (one layer only).
