Traps drums

I would like to know if anyone know or knpows someone that tried triggers with a traps drums. I wonder if any external triggers would work with how the shells are done

Hi.
I use two Traps toms on my kit. DDrum Red Shot triggers (http://www.thomann.de/fi/ddrum_d751.htm) work just fine with them.

What about a combination of whole Traps A400 set with 2box Drumit five brain, and what kind of triggers would be the best choice?

it should be easy to DIY a sidemounted trigger ... all toms have holes , and it looks like it s possible to screw a small 2"x 1" metal plate and place piece of foam with a piezo , and a jack plug ...
