Hi all,

A while back I got myself some rubber trim from drum-tec http://www.drum-tec.de/rimnoise-eliminator-p-244.html but the problem is that it wears out pretty fast and flops right off  :(
Anyone got better ideas? I saw Jmans post on Vdrums forum, but couldn't see the pics. (I never log on there anymore).

thanx

last year i bought some DDT rubber rim noise , and it looks solid

I dont have some on my snare ,but only on toms , so it s not an intensive use ...

For my drums I use a clear vinyl tubing like this:
http://www.homedepot.com/buy/plumbing-pipes-fittings-valves-pvc-pipe-fittings-pvc-dwv-pipe/asb-34-in-x-34-in-x-78-in-round-shower-kit-in-white-185059.html
For me, I wanted the clear rim guard as it is virtually invisible and just adds to the Stealth aspect of my conversion kits. As far as durability, not bad ..... as cheap as it is ... it is a no brainer .... use it, replace it when needed.
Not sure how well it will fit 2Box rims, but worth a shot.
In the US it is readily available at hardware stores and lots of places on line.
It could also be found at Pet stores as aquarian tubing.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)
