How to detatch the tom sound from the rim sound

Hi 2boxers , i cant seem to dial this in.

I've splitted the toms , but i can't change the sound of the rim without affecting the tom itself.

I can only do that on kits that comes with other rim sounds from factory.

Kits that comes with a tom rim sound only give's me control over the head sound + rim alltogether

Also i can't change the type of pad in both scenarios only allows me from rim to kick to pads , no cymbal types

Help!!

you just need to select the rim ...  for this , you have to press the "MORE" button and the tom you want to select.... then chose the sound via the encoder ... and have fun

thx man!! some how followed what u say and i did it , dunno how yet lol but i have a brand new splash on the kit
