he replied that he will cover postal expences. at least he is honest...

I decided to send it via my postoffice for a regular stamp (~ 1 euro) and not for ~ 10 euro's. Guess it went well, and my genuine Lexar works like a charm.

I returned my FAKE cards to the seller. Contacted him and he agrees to pay return shipping too. But after returning the items that were delivered back to him on June 4 he will not respond to my messages and has not given refunds (I bought 3). I've had to open eBay cases on all 3 to try and get my refund.... I hate these people that sell FAKEs. I reported this and another seller that is selling the same fakes and eBay has not removed the listings. Really makes you think eBay is more concerned with getting lots of money from seller fees than policing their fraudulent items being sold!
The other thing that is sad is that I am the only one who discovered that the cards of these sellers are FAKE. Lots of others have bought the cards and believe the cards are great..... ignorance is Bliss I suppose ;)
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

in my case jman (btw whats yer real name? i dont like calling you jman), the card had all sorts of errors. once i put it in the module it gave about 4-5 fat errors etc.

in the past i also dealt with bad sellers. paypal is your friend here. open a disputeand you are quaranteed to get your money back. i dont think you will get the postal expences as well, but if you provide paypal with his messages, perhaps you will be lucky in that as well. thank you very much for openning our eyes so that we know which lexar is a genuine on or not. i cant wait for mine to come

I send a mail to Lexar. No reply. Makes you think no one cares about this. Not as sexy as Gucci and RayBan I assume.

I think it is a wide spread problem which the companies like Lexar might not be able to do much about. There are sooooo many of those kind of electronic knock off companies in Hong Kong alone .... Not just memory cards, almost anything that is popular and can be imitated is prey to China, Korea, etc.... I guess I shouldn't get on a soapbox though, I've bought a few things from Alibaba in small wholesale quantities that are prolly 1/5 the price of similar items I could buy at home. Although there is a difference between companies that use reverse engineering and people like those deceiving buyers by selling FAKE branded products.

The front label looks right, and up till now all the fakes had the label wrong with the Shiny part and flat color reversed. Mine are from Korea, but I believe they are also made in China, so you are prolly fine .... especially since I found this little review and the printing on the back is just like yours .... probably yours is original.

I had a similar issue with Sony Memory Stick cards. The look exactly like the real thing, but the Sony camera I put it in spilled the beans with an error message. When I contacted the seller, they said they'd replace them if I returned them ... to China. If a deal looks to good to be true ... guess what?
