Plate cymbal - Total cost < $15

G'day all,

I thought since I needed a basic trigger for a cymbal that instead of buying another one I'd make one as cheap as I could.

I bought a plastic plate from the local discount shop, some rubber foam matt and a piezo and put it together like this:





















Then I made a home made splitter box to run off the 1st Tom input:



Voila ! a new cymbal/trigger

Very nifty - but you should at least have removed the price label!! You don't want people to think you're cheap.

That's true but I prefer the other side of the coin which is that we don't have to spend $$$ to get what we want in life, just a little bit of time and inginiuty
