Hi guys,

Just to let you know that I've made some important updates and corrections to the BFD2 to DSND pdf on Louis's website. Here's the link: http://www.shortestpath.se/dsoundtool/manual/bfd2.html

Cheers!

Thanks for the update. The big change, as I see it, is the ability to export audio faster than real time - which should be a real benefit. Now of someone could work out how to mimic the "learn" function of SD2, that would make it even easier!
Again, thanks for your pioneering work on this.

Hello,

Sorry for my stupid question :

I myself, directly convert the wav files of BFD/audio/  into dsnd files...

Help me be less stupid : the purpose of all this process is to apply some BFD effects to the sounds ?

thanks

Besides the advantage of using the vast resources in the BFD2 engine to record endless variations of each instrument. Breaking down disassembling and reassembling the audio sample files from the program is against the license agreement.

If you look at it this way: When recording MIDI files using BFD2 we are basically playing our own BFD2 recordings through our kits. And this they have "allowed". There is plenty of concern from the VST companies that their products will be misused, pirated, etc.... And that concern is something I totally respect. This is a very "touchy" subject. J
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)
