Anyone plan on getting Edrum gear for Christmas?
« on: December 13, 2011, 12:36:55 AM »
I can honestly say I don't have G A S (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) this Christmas. Well, I suppose it has a lot to do with the huge amount of edrum equiptment and VST software I've already procured the past several months.....

But since the posts seem a little slow right now I thought I would start a thread asking the age old question ...... What do you want for Christmas?
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

In the past years I was always buying guitars or some other guitar / bass related stuff for Christmas. This year Christmas came early. 2Box was my Christmas gift, but I still have GAS. What I would want for Christmas (next to 2Box) is a couple additional cymbals, better hihat stand and maybe a double kick pedal. Unfortunately I have already spent way too much on gear this year and this will have to wait.

This will not come for Christmas but I have ordered a kit from Diamond Elecronic Drum several weeks ago. I will paired it with a 2Box module, Jman's A to E cymbals and Manfred's box. This should be ready in february so not too long from here.

I guess i'm suffering from GAS  :D

Now that I said I wasn't planning on getting anything eDrum related .... Toontrack started a really good sale ..... I gave in and bought one of the add on SDX packs, Music City ... in the US there is a place audiodeluxe.com selling most of the SDX add on packs for $69 ea. and the EZX add ons for $29 ea....
enough to entice me  ;D
Looks like they have some on eBay UK also:
