nice ... as usual ;)

IMO a jack plug for an external footswitch would be welcome , for those who want to keep the box close to the module ...
#17
you have to enable "save" in the module's preferences ...

sensitivity is right on everything except the bass drum because the left beater isn't smack in the middle its a little less attacky on the sound as opposed to the right beater - any tips?

simply set your beaters to be at the same distance from the middle , and be carefull to put the trigger at 12'o'clock so both beaters are at the exact same distance ...

I have a PM-10 Roland monitor that really doesn't do the 2box justice, the sound through headphones is sublime, but via the amp, not so much, so I am thinking that its because of the headphone out being amplified. So, is it a better to get a small 6. channel mixer and route the outputs from the 2box in channels via the mixer and blend into a separate feed into the PM10? or is that convoluting things? I have 6 acoustics coming and I just bought a set of 5 trigits on eBay plus an extra one - cymbals will be L80 variants all round.

Is it easier to just route them all through one channel and mono into the PM10? just want to preserve quality a bit more

If it sounds shitty , it s just because it s a 30w shitty amp ...

i would sell the rack , toms kick and 2box harware separately , and buy a second hand drumkit with hardware .
You can find a nice middle range kit with cymbals for 300/600 dollars .

Then , you sell the acoustic cymbals , and with the money , you buy a second hand Roland cy15r + a zourman box  for roland 3 zone ride .

I dont recommend external triggers like ddrum or trigit ... Internal ones are more reliable ...
Wronka , trigerra or jobeky have simple 30/50 dollar internal triggers .
And buy a set of good 2 or 3 ply mesh heads ...

If you take your time and find good deals , this will cost you little money .

i m getting one this week , i ll try an will tell you ...

not the internal metronome , but you can have a stereo file with clic on left and a mono track on the right .
There is an option that let you have the clic only in the phones mix , and the mono track panned dead center in the output mix ...

more in the manual ...

it s possible that you disabled the save function in the preferences , it s possible to enable or disable it for people that dont want to accidentally mess with settings  ...check it ...

Hi guys ,

I made some researches to se if ALTERNATE MODE DRUMKAT 3.5 is compatible with Aquarian inhead without the need of an "InBox " , but didn't found the answer ...

I saw on the manual that the pad inputs can handle several FSR based  pads :
- proPAD - multi-zone FSR Pad
- rimKAT - dual-zone FSR Pad
-poleKAT - dual-zone FSR Pad .
But as inhead & onheads weren't available when the manual was written ...

thanx in advance for your help ...

Hello,

I recently discovered 2box and have a lot of questions -- sorry in advance! I figured this would be the best place to post rather than creating a bunch of separate threads...

Finally for now...I've found some posts where people discuss splitting the trigger inputs and adding more pads. Just to clarify, don't the pads already have 2 zones? So basically this allows for more pads, but not necessarily more sounds, since they could still be played from the rim of the original pads? Or is this incorrect? Hopefully this makes sense...

Thanks for any help!

You are right , toms inputs can be 2 zones , or you can have 2 discrete pads on the same TRS jack .

And also , welcome here ... The guy who made the blind friendly manual is the same that makes the dsnd editor . He is an active member of this forum , you could contact him if you need expainations on DSOUNDS and velocity .. His pseudo here is Lustar ...

have a nice day

it has a midi in so yes ... but is there any advantage in doing this ? Could you explain ?
#28
you cant trigger the TD17 via MIDI with your Drumit3 as the TD17 has no physical MIDI input ...

It could be possible by adding a computer +midi interface to route the MIDI out of the Drumit module to the USB/MIDI in of the roland one , but why would someone do this ?
