Hi!

As an old 2box collector of sounds...I made a quick job and pulled together all the missing *.dsnd sounds in the DrumIt3_SL_133.zip collection. Hope that this is ok with 2box Corp from a copyright standpoint. (Please notify me otherwise) They have been on earlier 2box sound images - but seems to been taken off for some reason.

You can download the zipfile here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/1nu8tvyb1a2xtt4/DI3SL133_Missing.zip?dl=0

Just unpack the files to the 2box SD Card and place them in a e.g. \missing directory in the root. The 2box module or the 2box editor will find them in the structure anyway.

Hi!

As you might have seen in this thread (#6) We solved the issue and made a 64 Gb Sd card to boot and perform well on 2box. (2years ago) - the trick is to populate a 32GB SD card using FAT32 and the just extend the partition- which many partition programs on the market can do. Then you have a perfect working 64 GB system on your 2box. (However, Don't use the USB port after extending the SD card above 4GB)

If people does not want to fiddling around - I am selling pre-configured tested working SD cards and also complete kits with card cable extensions and everything set, installed and loaded for booting on 2box with 64GB - just plug and play!

Hi all and hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Holidays always gives you some free time to play some drums - and find the inspiration!

I recently upgraded my home studio setup with some new equipment and was doing some tests...but I ended up with sampling some nice cymbals. (I have the whole range in the Paste PST7 series - about 9 cymbals.)

I made a recording of a 14" Thin Crash in the PST7 Series with 3 zones (bow, edge and bell), 74-80 layers each, about 235 layers in total creating a 126MB file. I was using all my old knowledge of creating and editing sounds for 2box and the result can be found here if anybody is interested:

Hi!

The speedlight hh / ctrl works with MKI

It is a magnet based hi-hat. I made the evaluation for 2box once upon a time. :-)

There is an optical version available from the same manufacturer as have created the hh for 2box. (But this doesn't work on 2box natively - on the todo list to determine if it can be used with 2box)

What is "normally comes with speedlight" for kind of hh? Is it the original?

Just a note...even if you export a complete drum snare sound (with head, rim, X-sticks) from SDSe you still could select the right sound to be triggered by your BT1 in the 2box module - like the RIM sound.

If you really want to slim down the SDSe generated dsnd sound file and get rid of the unused sounds - you can easily do this with Lustarks Drumit manager and the included Dsound Tool.

I have not tried this card, but I think the Canvas Go Plus 64GB Micro SD is too fast for the 2box module with its 170mb/# transfer rate specs. There are slower models available from Kingston. Look for cards with transfer rates around 100 mb/s.

Which card 64GB Micro SD cards have you tried - wetnose and cman ?

Hi best Friends.

I would claim that You need to calibrate the hihat first on 2box to get pedal in the next step to respond properly over midi. (This was my last findings) Please note that 2box have set the default cc channel for the pedal to 01...for some strange reason. But this can easily be changed to cc:04.
