Viel Erfolg!

Lutz

This is a very interesting project and I´m looking forward to hearing the results.

I would be especially interested in a good working live-kit for use over PA. Genre Rock/ Pop.

Good luck!

Other e-drum systems / Re: Roland TD50 product intro

I don´t get it, guys...
On the drum tec website it says:

“To enter into this new world of sound 70% of all instrument samples have been newly recorded in the hottest high-end studios in the UK, the USA and Australia on flagship drums from Gretsch, Sonor, Tama, Pearl, DW and even some exotics. Each sample was recorded in hundreds of layers (dynamics from quiet to loud and positions from rim to middle). Most of the cymbals were also recorded anew in all nuances from a great range of Paiste cymbals.“
(http://www.drum-tec.de/roland-td50-p-3100.html)

So... are the td50 sounds recorded real drums with multiple layers as in the 2box or is it something different?

(not that I would think about buyin it... I´m perfectly comfortable with my 2box)

Lutz

Hallo Phil!

Was die Hihat betrifft: Ich nehme an, du hast eine Kalibrierung durchgeführt? (siehe Manual)

Das könntest du also versuchen.
Bei weiteren Problemen/ Fragen melde dich gern.

Viele Grüße und viel Glück!

Moin,

Lutz

when in the Finder, hold down the Option key and click on the Go menu. your user library will then automagically appear...

Great shortcut, thanks!

Hi,
I am trying to follow your steps, but I got stuck on the mapping section. I downloaded your mapping file but couldn't find a Toontrack folder in Application support to insert it, and the other way I tried that you suggested I found the "manage in finder" option greyed out.
I could spend the time to map myself but it seems quite complicated. The hat functions only lets me adjust a single note, not one for all the different zones etc. I assume I can go to every voice in SD and give them a note to which will correspond with the one generated via the hi hat, what else should I look for?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
Have you been looking in "username/library/application support"? this library is a hidden folder, you must make it visible first (easiest way is to use an app called "tinker tool").

otherwise I have no clue, sorry!  ;D

cheers!
