General 2Box Drumit 3 Forum / MIDI TRIGGERING

Hello,

We were so unsatisfied with TrigIt set of triggers and especially all the mess around triggering settings that we decide to buy a Fame dd-one Simon Phillips kit to trigger our DrumIt3 in midi only.
We wanted to bypass as much as we could all that complicated (and time consuming) settings stuff

Since we are now only triggering in Midi, do we still need to take into account everyting related to pad triggerring like xtalk, curve, threshold, etc.....?

Thank you

Hello,

I have some strange behaviour with 3 sounds on my module  :(

On the DrumIt 3, I try to trigger some percussion sounds I converted with SDSE and DrumIt Manager on TOM1, TOM2 and TOM3 but I hear nothing or the sounds are chopped.
When I choose another sound already in the module, it's working fine (on any of the 3 toms).
When I play these sounds with DrumIt Manager on my pc, they sound good
I thought It could come from the sounds themselves so I created new ones but the problem is still there !
Sometimes when I hit very hard I hear the sound or a part of it ???
I also noticed that if I strike at the same time my snare drum while hitting the tom, then the sound is triggered.
I can also trigger the sound via midi without problem.

Now really, is there a ghost in my module ?  ;)

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Hi guys, no one around to help me ?  :-\

I'm completely swimming (sinking in fact  ;D) with curve, mask, etc... options
If i had known it was so hard to achieve a naturel feel i'm not sure i would have decide to trig an acoustic kit !

Thanks

Hello,

I'm also struggling to get the best response from Trigit triggers but with these heads:
https://www.drum-tec.com/meshheads/drum-tec-design-mesh-heads
Especially with kick drum (dble triggering)
Do I have to change something from what ANGR77 proposed ?

Many thanks

Hi,

Totally new here !
We are busy buying a Drumit 3 module with 2Box triggers set put on an acoustic kit with meshheads.
My question: is it still necessary to keep the resonance heads on the acoustic kit ? Is  there still a use for them ?
Please be nice, i'm not the drummer in the band but the one "playing" with "electronics"  ;)
Thanks a lot !
