So my hihat stopped sensing hits, the foot pedal still worked, just not stick hits.
Since i have had one cymbal do the same thing, i knew it was probably the wire breaking off the peizo.
So i opened the hihat up, and sure enough, there were actually 2 wire loose.
I re-soldered them back on, and the stick hits are now working again.
However, I've lost the foot pedal.
Every time i try to calibrate, i get NoChg, and the hihat is perpetually open.
Any ideas?
I know there is a magnetic sensor that works with the metal piece with the green foam on it (has a magnet inside).
Could the magnetic sensor have broken somehow?
Just want to close this off.
It was in fact the hall sensor that was broken sometime during my repair of the wires.

I guess he was talking about the Magnetic sensor ...
