Title: SDSE DSound error
Post by: IslandDJ on March 30, 2019, 07:27:54 PM
I'm having a problem with SDSE when trying to export from SD3.  All of the wav files are created without a problem, but then I get the error "Couldn't load DSound tool."  I went into the SDSE folder in the Program Files directory, and I can manually launch the dsoundtool via the jar file or the bat file.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

* I also sent a message to Lustark software, but I thought I'd post here as well

Here's what I would do, it usually works for everyone after this:
- uninstall all versions of Java from the computer
- install Java 64-bit (https://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=236888_42970487e3af4f5aa5bca3f542482c60)
- optional: click on C:\Program Files\SDSE\dsoundtool64.bat, if DSoundTool opens it should work with SDSE.

edit: the fix above worked for IslandDJ
