Please help if you can!
I just got hold of used 2box drumit5. It all works expect the hihat. I have calibrated it but the thing is miss triggering, not triggering and even false triggering and it doesn't read that its closed. I have tried new leads, but my guess is that is broken.
Any ideas.
Should I buy a new 2box hihat or try something else?
Im in Australia... there's no 2box dealers here anymore!!!

Hmmmm, this is a tough one. Could be a few factors but being that you have swapped cables. I'd make sure the hihat is in the correct input (a no brainer) and the trigger type is set to HHAT. Ask the previous owner if this was an issue with him/her. If it was and they didn't disclose, well I suppose not much you can do about it if it's sold as seen. But if you bought it off eBay, you have cause to take a case up if he doesn't compensate you.
Try my first few suggestions first. They are probably obvious ones but you'd not be the first person to have a wrong trigger type assigned.
