Title: Ripping Sounds From Steven Slate
Post by: nohumanape on January 11, 2019, 01:37:38 AM
My band mate picked up Steven Slate (I think its 4?) a little while back, to help him program some scratch drums. I, personally, never really thought anything of it, seeing as I have a personal collection of boutique drum sounds.

Anyway, he loaded the software on my computer, just so that I could load up Pro Tools sessions and hear his drum ideas. But I've been hearing a lot about being able to rip velocity sensitive samples directly from VST's and also recently realized that the Pearl Mimic Pro uses Steven Slate and sounds pretty damn good.

So I was wondering if anyone has an easy "How To" or can link to a good tutorial that shows how to best get those sounds onto a DrumIt 3 module.

Thanks.
