Is there any difference between the 10" and 12" pads (apart from 2" ;D )
I want to put together a smaller kit based on a Drumit5, and I was wondering if I could use a 10" tom pad as a snare and get the same response / playability?
No difference just a smaller playing area.

I noticed some of the early web articles/reviews mentioned 2box pads from 8" to 16" - were any of these sizes ever available??
I only remember 10 to 14 inch pads never saw an 8 or 16 even advertised although I believe that you saw it somewherez. Anyway, unless pads are in stock someplace it doesn't matter anymore with 2 box being out of the pad business
