Hi!
I recently got a midi cable so that I can play my drums straight in to perfect drums in reaper. the connection works but I am apparently to dumb to map the drums.
I've heard that the hi hat would be hard to map but at the time I can not even map the basics as snare and toms. I try to change the mapping but for some reason it just doesn't work. Perfect drums also use notes and not numbers to map drums so that makes it even harder. (Like D5 and F#4)
What I use
DAW: reaper
Vsti: perfect drums
Audio interface: focusrite safari 6 usb
Drumset: Second version 2box (drumit5) module with jman cymbal triggers and 2box triggers for the heads (hybrid set)
Pc: cpu i5 4670, gpu nvidia 1070, ram 16gb
I also have some latancy problems with the vsti when i monitor the drums live while playing. That is not really 2box related so that may be the wrong place...
Sorry if I was unclear at some point then just ask! Really, any kind of help is apprechiated!
