Hello!
Any recommendations for a sample pack to buy for some great tom sounds?
There's quite limited amount of toms on 2box brain and I'm looking for a better collection.
I'd love to find a big collection of great tom samples in one package. :)

Have you downloaded the extra files available on the 2Box site and eNerd's packs? Because there are quite a number of instruments beyond what is on the module ..... http://www.2box.se/World/pages/sample-library/

I am also looking for tom sounds. But of course â€GOOD sounds" are in the ear of the listener. I'm looking for fat sounds with minimal decay. I must say that most of the tom sounds I've heard are just too boomy for me. I want a heavy thud not something that goes boinggggggg forever. Almost a dead studio sound. I have tried the enurd sounds but they're not for me. Is there a way of fattening the existing 2box sounds and shortening the decay without it sounding too gated.? I'm happy to play around with the 2 box setting and curves etc but don't really understand them.
As for module settings I think it's in Kit -> ENV where you can shorten Decay value for toms.
As for the choosing the right kit, I think it was Ludwig Stainless Steel Kit (from BFD3 - if I am not mistaken) which has fat, dampened toms.
Just a thanks for suggesting shortening the decay value. I've done this now and very pleased with the results.
