Title: Trigger cancellation problem
Post by: sn47som on March 16, 2016, 02:40:30 PM
Hey guys, I've got everything working great at about a 98% level with my 2box set up. The last thing I need to fix is the triggering cancellation issue. Sometimes when I hit the drum pads and cymbal pads at the same time the cymbal sounds get cancelled out. Its super frustrating. Can any of you guys post up the best working configuration for the trigger pads that provide best sensitivity, best dynamics and most consistent triggering without any sound cancellation? Thank you!

pad type: ?
curve: ?
threshold:?
mask:? (mine is set to off)

Hey all, I figured it out myself. I actually had experience with this in thepast but forgot so. I turned down the X talk and that fixed the issue so for all you having the same problem its your X talk being set too high. I set all my X talk to low and that has been working great.

Hi sn47som,

are you saying that when you hit a tom and a cymbal at the same time, the cymbal doesn't produce any sound? Because that is what I experience occasionally on both of the cymbals.

I've seen it too, but usually because something has xtalk setting applied that I didn't know about.
