Title: cheapest store in new york (or usa)
Post by: BURNIN AMBITION on January 31, 2013, 01:09:27 AM
hi there. my woman is going to visit the us in march. i wanted to get some stands but they are too heavy so ill only make her buy me many sticks brushes rods etc.

i noticed guitarcenter and musicians friend have exactly the same price. is there a store that will be cheaper than those? even if it is online store i dont care. i dont think that there will be something cheaper than guitar center but id thought id ask since people like jman will be more experts in this than me. thank you

Look online for Guitar Center coupons--they have coupons and sales regularly. If you have access to US-based musicians' magazines (such as Modern Drummer or Guitar Player), you'll likely find coupons and more information about their promotions.

I don't live in New York, but I've been to the Sam Ash store in Manhattan, which I think is their flagship store, and it's much nicer than any GC I've visited. (If you're not familiar, Sam Ash is another, much smaller chain.) She might be able to find better prices there. http://www.samash.com/opencms/opencms/samash/footer/helpcenter/RetailStores.htm
