Title: Enlarge Trigger (ADD SCAN TIME) Parameters to reduce double triggering
Post by: Evort on November 26, 2012, 11:11:09 AM
The Trigger parameters in the drumit Five are very limited! I have major problems to get good setting with external triggers of Roland on a acoustic kit.
In other serious drum equipment there is a setting 'scan time' where you can set the minimal time between hits this is a perfect control for avoiding double triggering. For example the trigger settings of the Alesis DM5 are great!

Most of the time  double triggering is caused by the head's resonnance ... you can easily fix this by damping the head with some foam , or some kind of muffle ...

what kind of heads do you use  ?

Best thing is to use good double ply meshheads with a propper muffle ...
