The screw thread on my hi hat holder clamp, which holds the hithat onto the rod, has broken, leaving the hihat unusable as I can't tighten it onto the rod. Though it's difficult to tell for sure if its the wing nut or the hi hat holder part which is damaged (or both). I swapped to another known good wing nut (from a different part of the stand) and had the same problem, though it might be that the wing nut got damaged in the same way as the first one.
I have the MKII and its only 1 month old. I have not over tightened the wing nuts.
Anyone else had this problem ? I need to get a spare part from 2Box (or probably several incase this happens again).
